me3gan 2 metropolis ref
Sometimes you need a movie that's deilously stupid, and that Movie is M3gan 2. Had I seen M3gan 1? No. Was there a Metropolis reference? Yes. Did I enjoy seeing an actress from the 2010's Girls wear an exoskeleton? Also, yes.
I hope you find a really juicy podcast with a massive back catalogue. < 3
I know nothing about this book except for when it was mentioned in Malcolm in the Middle.
I would not want to sip from that poisoned chalice.
Okay. I'm reading Wuthering Heights.
These spreads are beyond gorgeous. I literally ordered two of these books upon seeing this post.
i never really cared for lucky luke before but ever since Matthieu Bonhomme took over as the artist, i got REALLY into it, it's such a gorgeous comic
Red man and blue woman in fantasy clothing. They are standing in the window.
redman
blue woman face.
I managed to finish this for Valentine's Day.
Oh, I remember telephone cards!!! I used them to call home when I was staying at various backpackers.
One day, we'll be an ancient civilization. I enjoy imagining future cultures, comparing and contrasting the direct works of William Shakespeare with Ten Things I Hate About You as if they were separated by a decade or so.
These are so beautiful.
Obsessed.
a reference sheet with fashion snippets from pinterest on the left that inspired the outfit sketched out on the left. my oc eloise is a succubus with a golden dagger like horn on her forehead. her eyes have goat pupils and are rendered like coins, with black sclera. she's wearing a black corset with big ref puffy sleeves, with gold fabric details. the other illustrations are the same character, drawn for more fashion design exploration.
designed my oc eloise a new valentine's day outfit!! this was so fun to work on but i'll probably revise it so i can draw it again without suffering kldjfgdg
Last one.
I remember when Pluto was still a planet.
Another!
Age verification?
You would plan to meet someone at an agreed on place/time. Once you left your house, there was no way to communicate, and you just had to hope the other person would turn up.
Age verification?
My first job was in a restaurant where smoking was allowed inside.
I've circled the drain a lot on this subject. The fear of being misunderstood is real, and the threat of being misunderstood on purpose is devastating to the creative process. The conclusion that I've come to is that it is unavoidable, and to just be very comfortable with it. (Easier said than done)
Lore Olympus volume 11 cover. Which is the Lore Olympus volume 1 but reversed.
concept art for the cover
Lore Olympus volume 11 cover final verses concept.
painting of a scifi landscape- snowy plains with mysterious creature on the horizon and man with robot companion walking towards it
painting of a pirate girl on the top of a snowhill near a giant plow. She holds her hand up front, with a pet magpie sitting on her palm side
painting of a traffic jam in a snowstorm with a sihlouette of a giant bird far away
painting of a cyberpunk culdesac buried in the snow and a lonely car stuck on the road
soft snow, sharp snow
I feel like making comics is deceptively draining because they involve so much decision-making.
