Can I just say that Londoncentric is proving to be the most important media outlet in London and a crucial part of the city's social and political fabric. I'm a subscriber and I always feel like it's a great investment

So excited that the guy who built this crazy museum LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER is gonna rep the UK at Eurovision this year. Bonkers. I love it.

Yes exactly that, seems to work OK
They go into a standard vertical Micro SD slot
Workshop workshops, ensembles, free and open cards doing all kinds of stuff (mungling! granular!), Workshop System in a browser, and a whole lot more.
@tomwhitwell.bsky.social was generous in summing up all the goodness from the world of his creation, and I cribbed his notes:
I had a lovely chat with Tom Whitwell of Music Thing Modular about the role of radio in my career. Watch it back here. @tomwhitwell.bsky.social

The best end-of-year list.

awesome to see @katiejwells.bsky.social research mentioned in @tomwhitwell.bsky.social's annual '52 things i learned,' terrible to see that AI is being used to selectively offer lower wages to nurses with more difficult financial straits

The yearly list of '52 Things I Learned This Year' has become an annual treat, and this year's selection by @tomwhitwell.bsky.social contains some typically-great facts; this year I was most struck by shrinking Americans and the possibility of a shrimp uprising: medium.com/@tomwhitwell...
Tom always seems to come up with a list of interesting and optimistic things e.g.
"London is safer today, with fewer murders, than at any time since I moved here almost 30 years ago."
I just published 52 things I learned in 2025

Nowadays (possibly as a result of the hack) it is extremely easy to get in - just turn up with ID and you get a pass, no checks. In the past, you had to explain what you wanted to study etc, no longer.
I always do this for all my family, but use pages from HTSI instead, which is somehow more luxe
Thank you this looks incredible and I didn't know it was here
This graph is misleading. It shows the number of tokens processed by OpenRouter per day and per model, not consumer usage. Students usually wouldn't be using OpenRouter, they'd be using the LLM provider's website directly and the telemetry would not be captured by OpenRouter.
