What’s something you got for your office that’s kept things organized? I just bought a headphone/cup holder and some cable management options. #homeoffice

In both, I wish I’d dialed back the voices for more of a “memory” vibe, and slowed them down. But this is why we practice! And why it’s important to take breaks and come back with fresh ears/brains.

Oh and the instrument I used in both is Krotos’ Concept Synth.

This weekend I did a couple of sound design “sketches.” Took clips from pexels.com and put sound to them. I assigned different genres to the same video to experiment with different sound design styles. This approach was for a coming of age film. 1/3 🧵

Being married to an ADHD woman be like: I told my husband everything I did in the hour he was gone grocery shopping in great detail including how the dog was behaving. Then proceeded to describe the rest of my day. Within 45 secs.

“Did you take new meds?”
“No just the usual. I also caffeinated!”

All I’m saying is, if I can handle an orange tomcat, a chihuahua pug mix, and one sweet and normal cat who throws up daily, I could probably also handle a raccoon as a pet.

Mine like “leg nests.” Aka curled up between my legs. He will even paw at me to comply. 😂😂

I have not, outside of others migrating to this app. I would love to find all of the sound designers I’ve had exchanges with in the bird app. It was cool to talk to people that are where I want to be, and learn from them just by scanning my feed. You?
