There are many things I could do to pay tribute to my family. This happens to be one of them. Here is my family name in Ogham! It is a medieval alphabet used primarily to write the early Irish language. Today also marks 13 years since my mom has passed. So it will stand as a reminder of her as well.

On this day 33 years ago, my appendix ruptured and nearly killed me. I count myself lucky to have lived 33 more years. Life can change in an instant, and it’s too precious to waste. We exist, so do something worthy of that existence.
