Im reading this by Paco Roca, “The Abyss of the Forgotten”(2023), about the disinterment of mass graves from the Francoist White Terror. In the more expository portions, Roca finds actual comics language. Amazing ligne claire and colour. Heart wrenching. Still, more TV than someone like Gfrörer.
