Howard the Duck cover by Jack Davis. It shows Howard on Santa Claus' lap with a list of demands.
If I knew I'd completely forgotten about a modern (ahem) Marvel cover by Jack Davis.

So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.
Cover of Dan Simmons' Hyperion.
Cover of Dan Simmons' Fall of Hyperion.
RIP Dan Simmons.
Always enjoyed his horror books but "Hyperion" and "The Fall of Hyperion"...man, what a masterpiece.

TRAINSPOTTING was released 30 years ago today. Acclaimed as one of the great British movies and a generation-defining piece of pop culture, the behind-the-scenes story is as lacking in moral fibre as youβd probably expectβ¦

Flowers in the Dustbin Launches Today - A Punk-Era Graphic Epic Begins
www.comicbooknews.co.uk/article/flow...
I need help!
I have written scripts for a multi-issue porn comics series.
My friends and I usually pass our scripts around and give each other feedback, but this time they've said no thank you.
So I need like-minded people to give me their opinions instead. Especially comics artists and writers.
Launching today - FLOWERS IN THE DUSTBIN.
Set during the rise of the early UK punk scene, Flowers in the Dustbin is an epic graphic novel serialised on Patreon. It's the story of a punk band with a trans woman lead singer. Meet Lola, Terry, Lloyd and Simon as they form the band known as Slagheap.
I wish I was there! And I don't say that often!
Shame I can't re-like this post.
The SkyJack series finished years ago but this treasure still reigns supreme in my shelves.
Photo of the two volumes of James Harren's UltraMega (plus the issue of Skybound X including a short story of the character).
Last read: James Harren's UltraMega. I bought volume 2 recently and as I did not remember much of the first volume I decided to do a full read (along with the short in Skybound X). I have to admit that I got it for the art and that the genre is not my cup of tea but I ended enjoying it very much.

Never read "Identity Crisis". I'm just a casual DC reader but, from the outside, it already looked like an overall bad idea (same as Civil War in the Marvel side).
Venom is rubbish. Past the Black Costume Saga, I couldn't care less about symbiotes or whatever they're called.
HOT FUZZ was released 19 years ago today. The second entry in Edgar Wrightβs Cornetto Trilogy and one of the most beloved British comedies this century, the tale of how it was made is like firing two guns whilst jumping through the airβ¦

Latest readings. I've had these last 2 volumes pending for a good while.
In my case, mentally going for CTRL+Z when making a mistake penciling or inking at my drawing table.
A six panel comic from 2018 that says "no" to Hourly Comics Day. At least no for me. Happy Hourly Comics Day to those that want to do even more comics for free, only in a more exhausting way.
Always remember.
The good old 80s...
"I hunt heroes. Haven't found any yet".

Latest re-reading finished.

Yep. Marvel movies used to have a very high rewatchability factor for me. Except Shang-Chi and Multiverse of Madness, I haven't practically rewatched any from the last few years.
Montaje del poster de la pelΓcula "Todo a la vez en todas partes" en el que se han incrustado logotipos de diferentes IA y se ha superpuesto el texto: "Puta IA de mierda en todas pitas partes a todas putas horas en cada putΓsima mierda"
13 years ago already!?
I've had the suspicion for a while that the first ones that they are not having fun are the ones making the movies.
