reading that article is.. really something. How could *anyone* have a person called 'Bitey the Clown' in a position where they made personnel decisions??? And the rest. I'm glad Janelle has moved on to more and better things.

he is a stupid man who has been brought into this by his own personal greed. not everyone else is quite as stupid, including the iranians. I do hope he isn't handling me- would be keen for my country to stay out of this stupid, stupid thing.

The US picking a fight with someone 30 miles away from a million of their citizens, who hasn't now got anything to lose, now Trump turned down all the concessions they *could* make (which were substantial) is.. you could say irresponsible.

trying to distract myself by looking at buds and growy stuff in the garden whilst also *finish drawings* and try not to think about being on a slippy slope to war.

what do you think of the theory that Iran is trying to drain resources and the US treasury and it is in part to have the US turn on itself?

All that is keeping these people alive is a handful of desalination plants. Which if they have not come under attack yet, will do. The amount of missiles you have does not matter if someone can just cut off the water. Thirst doesn't care who is elite human capital.

A man asked me last night what publishing needs to do for literary fiction to begin appealing to men again. I said, as nicely as I could, that, with over 2,000 books published every Tuesday, of which many would appeal to men, it’s not a publishing problem, it’s a men problem.

A glimpse of Iran, through the eyes of its artists and journalists Understanding one of the world's oldest civilizations can't be achieved through a single film or book. But recent works of literature, journalism, music and film by Iranians are a powerful starting point.
