TikTok was incredibly enjoyable, annoying, frustrating, comforting, and stressful.
Creators know commenters were equal parts exhausting and exhilarating.
Be kind to people who miss it. Think of it as a summer camp you never went to and never really got.

The bigger my platform gets (elsewhere obviously) the more people think they found an ally in me for opinions like “new music is all derivative." Sorry, I'm not on your side. I love new music, and I definitely think the kids are alright. I can live with the hypocrisy of gatekeeping the gatekeepers.
