He would not face the camera today! 😂
This was our second walk of the day. He was grinning like a goon the entire time. 🥰

"A painting is not a picture of an experience, it is an experience."
"The beauty of the object increases in proportion to the rapture with which we gaze on it."
Haha. Cute.
Thanks for sharing.
Magnus, a black Scottie, with a tug of war cow in his mouth. I'm holding the other end.
Ah yes, I should share more of him! Here he is in action with his latest tug toy.
But of course! Like yours, she’s getting up there in years. She still think she’s a puppy though.
Oh, my gosh, I just want to kiss her little face! :D
So cute.
Thanks for sharing.
Love the coat, too! XD
Have you got any pics of said dog?
Aw, thanks.
Any pics of your pup?
Very cute lil puppers.
Give him a treat for me. :)
I'm sure I will my trippy little sheep.
I am sure that I will.
Congratulations.
I just noticed that you are an attourney and write literary fiction (my jam).
If you want to swap some pages some time, hmu.
He sounds like a real gem. :D
I surfed your TL quickly but didn't see any pics.
Any recent photos of your boy?
Yes. I really enjoy it.
It gives you a little background into who Kesey and The Pranksters were, a little bit of HST, some Ginsberg, Kerouac too if only briefly.
There is a pretty great audiobook performed by Luke Daniels if you are into audiobooks (I love audiobooks. Driving without is a crime).
Never a good sign when a book gets DNF'ed for 8 years. :P
I did finish it but I don't remember it at all which is also a bad sign.
Have you ever read this one?
Very good.
Short, effective, and atmospheric.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks.
She is pretty cute, isn't she. :)
Agreed.
Happy to make a difference. :)
XD
Nonsense. The only people it rubs the wrong way are Philistines!
:P
That may be. I'm not sure. I'm much more drawn to cerebral writing than anything so, you're good.
Ya, I read Naked Lunch. Didn't get it. XD
No, I've never read him.
And don't worry about your #Tsundoku. If one is a true bibliophile, these things happen! :D
My little Mia is starting to look old, but she thinks she's still a puppy and she doesn't own a mirror so we're not going to tell her.
Always let baby win. It's good for her confidence.
Oh! Awesome.
I'm not sure I've ever met a female who enjoys HST.
Do you like Fear and Loathing the movie?
I also really geek out on influences of authors over time.
Wolfe -> HST
Homer -> Virgil -> Dante -> Chaucer
I was assigned INFJ by my test results but honestly, I think your INTJ is more my speed.
Or perhaps it's just what I'd rather be. I dunno. :P
Yeah, that makes sense.
I feel this way about a lot of poetry.
Very few poets can arrest my short attention span.
I have been interested to read friends and ever since I saw him on the Charlie Rose show with David Foster Wallace.
(And, of course, them mentioning eyebrow intellectuals, reading the newest friends and novel in one of my favourite shows, Succession XD).
Which of his works would you start with?
