Blue stage lights overhead faintly illuminate the lighting bars overhead and the top edge of a prop onstage, the thick red stage curtain is glowing with the light bleeding through from the front. It's dark outside of these two light sources

A magical space that not many people get to appreciate is on stage behind the curtain during interval. The curtain warmers softly glow through and none of the actors are around

Often the stage crew have taken a break as well (I was down here from lighting to check on the hazer)

So peaceful 🥰

Genuinely it took about a minute to fall 4 meters

Absolutely magical moment last night as we detached an approximately 6-7m long spider web from the overhead grid in the theatre and watched it fall elegantly through a spotlight

Descending so slowly and gracefully it looked like it was an underwater creature 🤩

Tech rehearsal went pretty well last night, very pleased with some of the scenes I've crafted. Especially the lighting in the emotional peaks of the show

Only thing that went badly was catching a nail and nearly ripping it off 😭

Yesterday was a *long* day doing get in for our next show, we got a lot done though and having two other lighting techs with me made it so much more relaxing, actually being able to delegate tech jobs rather than having to do it all myself?!

They always seem so excited and eager to jump to position, at least that's how I like thinking of them

I'm a lighting girlie not sound, but fuck motorised sliders are cool
