imo there's a bit of a ne'emanus when it's specifically a story that puts his father in a less than positive light, so unless there's specific reason to believe it ISN'T true I'll tend to assume it is, but either way there are bigger hills I wouldn't die on

I think the main source is the Rebbe Raya"tz (his son) who was present at a few of the meetings, mostly as he related to his son in law (the latest Rebbe) who recorded it in his diaries at the time.

Think a teenager/husband who's left to explain an awkward charge on the CC bill and will naturally resort to "the card was stolen", they will report it stolen, Visa/MC will have to issue a refund and lose that money.

As someone who used to work in payments, the CC companies say it's about risk, CC companiess are on the hook for fraud and most of the times are left holding the bag, so if a certain industry is deemed to be a higher risk for fraud or chargebacks they'll charge higher rates or even refuse to process

I don't think we can expect much from the administration headed by the Trump University guy...
