Been tinkering a fair bit with AI agents recently, and doing some writing again. The first of these little projects is a long overdue portfolio website (the first one in 15 years π).

Our eldest (10) asks the best questions: βSo if Americans canβt reassign gender after conception, and all Americans are now women, does that make Donald Trump the first female president of the United States?β
I wonder if satire would be a good mechanism to explore the virtues of service design⦠www.instagram.com/reel/DC2AdoI...
Lovely having amazing neighbours round for a drink and getting all this insider knowledge on where we live β€οΈ
Absolutely wild to realise that this happened in a place Iβve walked past hundreds of times in the few years weβve been here, and what an impact that event and these incredible artists had on the world.
Further fun fact.. apparently Dylan saw this and it convinced him to go electric at his next gig at the Free Trade Hall in town (to much uproar and outrage at the time).
I just learned something absolutely incredible. In 1964 Granada Television put on a gig featuring blues legends Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Muddy Waters, Cousin Joe Pleasants, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. In a train station. At the bottom of my street. Check this out youtu.be/J8I95Nb-y8k
Happy Friday! We are recruiting midlevel Service Designers! Are you looking for a new exciting role in a department where you can really make a difference? We'd love to see your application. www.jobtrain.co.uk/justicedigit...
The moment I realised was when I realised Montreal was further south than Manchester in the UK. Montreal gets very cold in the winter (it was -15 Celsius at that time) and in Manchester it was 3 degrees Celsius. The current as I understand it blows warm air up into Europe that keeps it warmer
I knew it!
Absolutely incredible achievement from Jasmin Paris! The first woman and one of only 20 people ever to finish the notorious Berkley Marathons. πππ

Wow. This is eye opening. I knew the abolition of landlords was a good thing, but this is the first time Iβve seen a really compelling case for that as a solution to the housing crisis (and a more viable alternative than build more houses) apple.news/AZgEORA44TXK...
That sounds sensible, it is quite literally Baltic there!
I think it is - we saw a few places along the waterfront that were cordoned off for swimming. I wasnβt brave enough to try though!
As always Matt May puts into words so well what needed to be said. In the latest a Newsletter Matt discusses the Jakob Nielsens poorly reasoned case for why accessibility failed.

Busy day in the allotment today - finishing up some heavy pruning / coppicing and clearing space. Looking forward to having a go at weaving some hazel into raised beds and basket making with the willow.
If youβre interested in AI the public sector and you happen to be in Manchester on the 22nd March, this will be good: www.linkedin.com/posts/openda...
