This was a memorable story for me. Ryan got very emotional talking about his standout exhibition game against the Phillies at the Kingdome. Quite poignant.

I’ll never forget Sandy standing in the back of the room, arms folded and a grim look on his face, during Kevin Brown’s introductory press conference after he signed with the Dodgers at the 1998 winter meetings. Sandy was sure that deal (7 years, $105 million) was the ruination of baseball.
Jake Paul is listed as fighting out of Dorado, Puerto Rico, which as any #Mariners fan can tell you has a far more prestigious claim to fame as the hometown of Edgar Martinez.
