As if personal style were related to the amount of garments and not the ability to mix and match them! Your attempts are adorable, but not fooling anyone.

It makes absolute sense, but awareness of some people being weird or parasocial shouldn’t dim anyone’s fandom joy — neither yours, nor the people’s involved in the creative process. Imagine how miserable the cast members would be if they only focused on this rather grim aspect of their work!

Embrace the cringe and the whimsy, enjoy yourself to the fullest! Sooner or later you will see that there was nothing to worry about in the first place, just made-up social constructs and bias in your head, and this interaction like other fandom experiences will bring you even more joy with time.

This type of dominance isn’t inherently sexual, so the title (and AO3 tag) seems appropriate.

There’s nothing kind about this, just basic observation skills!

Yes, he’s usually happy to chat and give out autographs — also on things unrelated to the play!

I’ve just seen some of Hineko’s posts while scrolling through my feed here — whatever it was, it must had happened minutes ago.

True, although that breakup in the middle of Whickber Street always hits differently — and invites the possibility of a similarly public reconciliation (or confession) scene in the upcoming movie!

It’s such a heartwarming and humbling experience to see how much those even passing connections can mean in times like these and how often we forget about their importance. From theatre staff members to initially reluctant husbands indulging their wives fangirling from the stalls, we all need it.

There’s something wonderfully poetic in the way “Our Town” as a play about communities builds and strengthens them. From the exquisitely humane bond of the audience to a regular Good Omens convention happening at the stage door, it lifts up and transforms on micro and macro level.

Remember that when Good Omens was written, Discworld was still far from the cultural institution it is today; Terry’s style evolved significantly due to both his workshop and life experience as well as (in the later years) a progressing illness.

Grotti, L., Allaert, M.& Quick, P. (2022). Good Omens: A Collaborative Authorship Study. In Proceedings of the Computational Humanities Research Conference (CHR 2022), Antwerp, Belgium, December 12–14, 2022 (CEUR Workshop Proceedings, vol. 3290, pp. 424-440): “Rolling Delta partially confirms our expectations of the novel. Pratchett's idiom is predominant in the book. Instances of Gaiman's style, especially throughout Chapter 6, can largely be attributed to the presence of the Four Horsemen in those sections, characters that he authored.
Rolling Classify generally confirms the results of Rolling Delta, except for 2 additional shorter segments being attributed to Gaiman. Compared to the results obtained by previous studies, we find Pratchett to be far more predominant throughout the novel. Our results reveal a higher degree of confidence in attributing segments to each author, showing fewer overlays between Gaiman's and Pratchett's styles compared to Callaway's.”

Random reminder that most recent (2022) academic study on the topic of authorship of Good Omens by Grotti, Allaert and Quick not only analyses the book, but also uses the movie screenplay for control. The results confirm that Terry Pratchett wrote even more than Callaway’s older stylometry suggests.

The difference in pricing really is insane! Buying a quality cashmere sweater from kids section always feels like committing a daylight robbery — but at the same time, so worth it and soft on the skin.
