This is not just about Big Things like voting and international relations but also stuff like "hey I've been sick" or "I have a singular comfort food and the grocery store is out of stock"
I don't have an answer to this because I am 100% in the camp of "we need to be able to talk about bad things so we can understand them and work towards finding solutions or coping" but I also know what it is like to feel swamped with the cries of hundreds of users yelling "this is the bad place!"
When I think about my works (esp when I'm drawing cute lil moni) I'm often caught wondering about what is a good balance between talking about The Things That Happen and what is just straight up doomer talk.
