Same as in Davos, I find the tone Newsom takes with the Europeans especially grating. I mean, I realize humility isn't a US strong suit but how about, "We failed to stop this, but you can help us by standing up for yourselves."

Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

With a little bit of creativity, HB2017's promised freeway improvements could be delivered immediately for just the cost of paint and a bit of asphalt. It would look something like this. The promised improvements were:
- Address Rose Quarter congestion
- Improve north-south vehicle flow

I say rip it out but if they want to slap a toll on it and pay for the Big Dig West Coast Edition I'm ok with that too.
