It could not be more obvious that the president does not care about US service members and in fact regards their deaths as mere political inconveniences. He has more sympathy for Putin than Americans who died because he decided to wage illegal war. Just listen to him.

Lesly Rodriguez Gutierrez and her two kids—one of whom has severe disabilities—were kidnapped by ICE last Tuesday. Ms. Gutierrez is a Colombia asylum-seeker. She was arrested after reporting for her check-in at the Tehama St. ICE office.
Lawyers have been unable to locate Gutierrez or her children.

The reason they wouldn't attack Finland is because of nukes.
Finland is in NATO and NATO has nukes.
The problem now is that large parts of NATO's nuclear arsenal is American, and America is no longer a country to rely on for anything.
You can, up until the point where Putin decides to try a nuke.
If you already have a nuke, he's not going to try to attack you at all.
And that is why having nukes, is the best way to avoid nukes being used.
You are letting your fear dictate your thinking and stop thinking rationally as a result.
The countries you are talking about are rational and are only getting nukes as a deterrent. They are never going to use them unless attacked.
Russia is the irrational one, and they already have nukes.
