hey... thank you all for being so kind to me. i feel... liked, valued, respected, and it's just... really, really nice. i'm so lucky. i hope i'm able to make you guys feel that way in return, even if i'm shy and a bit asocial sometimes... i'll keep trying to show support how and when i can 💛

for a few weeks i've been doing some of the warm-ups mentioned in LRP and yeah, it's been making a big difference for me! soooo much more often i'm happy with what i draw, after doing them... i forgot to do them yesterday before drawing and didn't like what i drew, go figure 😆

i wish i could find it haha funny that the people running bsky hate the userbase so much but it just makes me sad. they've got a decent thing going here but complete antipathy for the communities that have settled here because they're not the communities they *want*...

of course there's a difference between "stealing" and "taking inspiration"... i'm trying really hard to make sure i'm only doing the latter lol. anyway just complaining cause i thought i'd come up with a good working title but it was basically just the anime's name in english 😩 dangit!!!!!

it's especially difficult when it comes to characters in the RP that didn't belong to me. they're SO essential to satsuki's origin but i'm not gonna snatch someone else's character for my own purposes obvs 😭 and i worry that any character i come up with will be too derivative of them... behhhh

it's really tough originalizing a story lmao. satsuki's story is based on a RP which was based on an anime... so there's two things i need to not pull ideas from too much if i can help it 😅 sometimes i have a good idea but then realize it's actually from one of those two things... gaahhhhh
