3pm: Break & more Olympics.
Anna: Backflips are illegal! Remember Scott Hamilton?
Bryan: No
Anna: He was always doing backflips.
Bryan: This guy?
Anna: Yeah that's him! Also why did you zoom in on his face so much?
Bryan: Wait they made back flips legal this year!
Anna: Woah, no way
LEGAL BACKFLIP!
4pm: Walk & Coffee
Cold but sunny day. Piles of dirty snow. Coffee shop around the corner from us.
5pm: More thumbnails
6pm: Gloves are done blocking. I love this pattern. I hate weaving in ends.
Bryan makes a red sauce. I make fun superbowl snacks.
7pm-8pm: Superbowl, Bad Bunny, tearing up and people in the grass.
Anna: These commercials are making me sad.
Bryan: yeah let's watch something else.
TV: We used AI for everything.
9pm-12am: Worked on my sweater and we watched people try to survive in the Arctic Circle
"Look at this big pike!"
The End

Hourly Comic Day
6am, 7am Dream land
8am coffee in bed, my favorite
9am It's 3 degrees outside, so we're grateful to have nowhere to go today. A cozy day inside. Feels like -8 degrees. Comfy day fit. Journal
10am: Olympics. We take care of the cats in our backyard so we're trying to keep them warm as best we can. Cold! Miss Piggy on a heating pad.
11am: Cleaning. Vroom Vroom
12pm: More Olympics. Wee! Luge!
Anna: if you wanted to up your chances of being an Olympic athlete, I feel like LUGE is the way to go
Bryan: So you're calling them "Lugers"
1pm-2pm: Worked on thumbnails for an unannounced project. I love this story.

Publishers' marketplace screenshot about A True Gentleman, "a queer historical romance fllowing a trans teen grappling with masculinity, diability and empire after his dreams of proving himself at sea take a turn - and his sweetheart's secret plans to see him again. to Caitlin O'Connell at Penguin Workshop, for publication 2028, by Jessica Mileo - Rights to S&S UK by Louise Lamont at LBA books."
HELLO I'm so delighted to finally officially share A TRUE GENTLEMAN, the graphic novel I’ve been working on for the last few years & is very close to my heart.
Inspired by a lot of real queer & trans history and my own disability, with big marsh, big ships & BIG YEARNING #books

A finished hand knit mohair glove. Only one though. Kinda looks like a cast? Oh well
I can’t believe when you make a glove you then have to make another one

the enthusiasm for generative AI would not have been possible without prior decades of capitalist conditioning to view works of art as products, rather than acts of culture and shared human life

Now i love drawing them, and the most important take away is not that I learned how to draw backgrounds, it’s that i was able to overcome something that was frustrating and difficult for me through time and practice.
That’s such a valuable skill that is being taken away from these kids.

I didn’t have access to a “magical” tool that could bring my book to life so I had to learn how to do it myself.
I used to think I just couldn’t do backgrounds, but I forced myself to because I wanted my book to be real.
