Inscription is a ritual in which a scribe etches one or more scripts onto an object's surface to imbue it with magical power, transforming it into a Catalyst.
The process of inscription involves imbuing a catalyst with power based on the will and intent of the scribe.
Despite the danger the substance poses, Icor supplies raw metaphysical power to a scribe which is then channeled through an object allowing them to impose their will upon their enviroment without regard for the natural order, this object is known as a catalyst.

The essense of the breach manifests on coporial planes, such as the numerous strata within its vast expanse, as a glowing purple liquid known as icor. It is an incredibly volatile and toxic substance that is known to cause sickness and mutation in those that ingest it.

Fair enough. The last few Bioware games have been lacking at best. I seriously hope they learn from some of the flops since ME3. If they don't, then the OG trilogy still exists and it will still be peak.

Mergo is the second protagonist of Recovery System. Roped into a life of crime at a young age, she acts as Jaque's primary engineer, pilot and lithoscribe. While she may be great at the more technical assistance she provides, she can be a bit of a recluse and is by no means a fighter.
The hard part of comic creation isn't always gonna be the writing or art.
It's gonna be the marketing.
Come to terms that your stuff probably won't pick up traction for a while. You're gonna have to do more than posting art on social media.
I learned all that the hard way.
