Registration is now open for our SASA 2026 conference on Saturday March 7, 2026 in Inverness, the Highlands of Scotland! Please register now so you can make travel plans as soon as possible! We are so excited to be seeing you in a little over a month's time!

If you would like to stand for election to be part of the committee, please email a brief CV and a bio/statement of interest (no more than 150 words) to scotamstudies@gmail.com. Your statements may be sent for voters to read. You ARE allowed to run for more than one position.

Our SASA Committee is a special friendly and supportive community, working to nurture Scottish Americanist PhD students and ECRs. Most of these are a light and fun workload, and we are increasingly flexible in working together across UK and other countries' borders!
