Police body cam footage shows DOGE knew Institute of Peace was private property during raid Footage obtained by The Handbasket’s lawsuit shows a hostile takeover on March 17, 2025.

SCOOP — Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.

My report:

How is this held up as a thought provoking quote? What about investing is not about growing wealth? This is just repeating the same thing with new words.

"I never fell in love with spending, what I fell in love with was helping people buy things"

"[A] censorship bill disguised as licensure protection"?

Well, we require humans to be licensed to provide legal and medical advice. Under Professor Miers's analysis, all such laws would constitute "censorship." But basically everyone has concluded that such laws are appropriate as they protect >

06.03.2026 14:55 👍 6 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0

This is a misread of the statute. It is not information that "could" fall within licensed advice, it bars any "substantive response" that "would" violate either UPL or med licensure if a natural person did it, and the standard is willfully. It's a clearly good law.

The use of AI to identify targets (without subsequent specific human confirmation) should be considered a war crime.

And by that I don't mean "we should make a rule" I mean that straightforward application of the existing rules would tell you that it is a war crime.

So the thing about human rights - literally, the whole thing about them - is that they are everyone's, regardless of who they are, where they are from, and what they do.

'It Was Very Creepy': These People Say They Lost Global Entry Just For Watching ICE Agents Two people claim they were punished for acts of protest, and an internal government memo suggests they may not be the last.

I spoke with two ICE watchers who lost their Global Entry after brushes with federal agents. Now an internal memo shows Customs and Border Protection is evaluating cases where people's Global Entry could be revoked based on "encounters" with its officers.

I haven't said anything about this before, bc in the grand scheme of horrors this only rates as an inconvenience, but since others are experiencing it:

Just three days after CBP arrested me for filming them outside Broadview on 9/27, my TSA Pre & Global Entry were suspended—and so were my wife's.

I think one of the things that bothers me the most about the way Polymarket presents itself to the world is that it's adopted the language of journalism to make itself sound more legitimate. Like look at this post from yesterday morning incorrectly "projecting" the winner.

Per The Economist/YouGov, half of Americans support ABOLISHING ICE.

Literally, "abolishing."

Israel simply does not have the power to force the US government to do something it does not want to do. What Rubio is doing here, by claiming Israel forced the US hand, is making Israel the scapegoat for a US policy he knows is unpopular. This framing is going to be so bad for Diaspora Jews.

The New York Congressional district case is astonishing, for the reasons Sotomayor laid out and that Vladek explains fully here. The court doesn't have jurisdiction over a state law dispute before appeals within the state system have been completed!

Again the second Democrats control Congress again, these Wizards in Robes need to be working out of modular temporary offices with no budget, no clerks, & no control over the docket. Or they can stop with the unbelievable chutzpah & start following the law & Constitution:

What's scary about this story is the surveillance it hints at. This trans woman had changed her name, legally, but chose not to change her gender marker. She was apparently flagged in the DMV system as trans and her license was invalidated under a law that supposedly only concerned gender markers.

BREAKING: SCOTUS shadow docket decision rules in favor of forced outing of trans students, reinstating a lower court ruling against California's law prohibiting forced outing. Also references forcing teachers to misgender trans students. Horrific precedent.

Washington Post layoffs include entire Ukraine, Middle East bureaus - National | Globalnews.ca The Post’s executive editor Matt Murray called the move painful but necessary to put the outlet on stronger footing and weather changes in technology and user habits.

I’m not the world’s fourth-richest man so I don’t mean to speak out of turn here, but I think that firing your full-time foreign correspondents right before a major war might not have been a particularly wise move in terms of, you know, getting or keeping subscribers

Well there is your problem, not all religions are the same, nor are the ways people practice religion. Not everyone believes that religious texts need to be read or understood literally.

It's a new age. The combination of Gaza, Musk's buyout of X, and the Epstein Files is creating a perfect storm of antisemitic hate.

This is why I warned people to focus less on Musk's antisemitism and more on the systemic issues his buyout caused.

Good example of the way anti-trans hate and antisemitism continue to be intertwined in American discourse. Once more subtly, now far more overtly.

What Graham Platner thinks:

- Got a Nazi tattoo
- Called himself a communist
- Said Black people don't tip
- Called all police "bastards"
- Said rape victims should "not get so f**ked up"

Bravo, leftists. Pure genius move.

And unlike most of the GOP's bullshit, all of these claims are both accurate and in context.

This is but a taste of what awaits EVERY Democratic candidate this fall.

NGL I’m seeing way more Americans post about the 200ish school children killed by the US government than about the thousands of protesters killed by the Islamic Republic so I can understand why some members of the Iranian diaspora are losing their minds a little

Every so often I think about how so much of our current mess is the result of not having sufficient investigative and prosecutorial resources to go after rich rapists and domestic abusers with any reliability.

In a better timeline, Hegseth and Trump would be enduring de facto life sentences.
