Just booked our room for Fortress Fest in the same hotel as @philwadey.bsky.social . It's really starting to feel real.

War Machine on Netflix is....pretty far fetched. I mean, if you are willing to deal with plot holes a mile wide and just want dumb fighting shit, I guess it's a movie. But I'm not buying the story they are telling. I'll leave it at that.
I was planning on catching Ride that tour and it didn't work out. Still hoping to see them.
My friend booked Kanonenfieber and Grima and then I guess the tour never happened.
I took my son to his first black metal show to see this tour and we stood there with chills and our jaws on the floor. Seeing it with my son made it even more special.
Also, I've never seen Turbonegro. I've seen Hank von Hell, but never Turbonegro. That's a huge miss for me.
FUCK. I'm seeing 1914 at MDF, not Kanonenfieber. Ok. They are on the top of the bucket list too. As far as Opeth, it's just never worked out and I'm not as wild about their new stuff. If they did a Blackwater Park, My Arms, Your Hearse, Morningrise, etc. album in full, I'd travel far for it.
gonna knock some of them off the list this year, like Kanonfieber, Fluisterrars, Gallowbraid and Antrisch. Would have loved to see Bolt Thrower, My Bloody Valentine, Stone Roses and Cobalt. Still would like to see Opeth, Ride and Los Males del Mundo. Dream of seeing ORM. That's #1 on my list.
Agriculture for me. They were ok and then I saw them live and I understood it. To a lesser degree Zeal & Ardor, because I liked them but live was amazing. And the first was Between the Buried and Me. They were so good live and I was just getting into that style of music and sold me on it.
It's been a while since I listened to In on the Kill Taker, but I was like, this sounds wrong. Then I checked , because I didn't remember it starting like that, and then I realized why. Very jarring
Looks pretty damn good.
They ordered the songs differently too, which drives me crazy
it's weird how it sounds exactly what it is. Fugazi and Albini. You could ask me who the group and producer were and I could have guessed, even if these were new songs I had never heard. At least it feels like I could have guessed.

I have been so busy at work I forgot to put this out this morning. Compared newly released Ablini version of In On the Kill Taker with the release version. Interesting, but release version is better. Everything on this is awesome. #metalsky
I am too.
My buddy Wibbs showing off his top albums of last year, the vinyl addition. There were a couple I'm jealous I don't have on vinyl. Blut Aus Nord, Blood Abscission Noctambulist and Grey Aura in particular, but I got a fair number of these on vinyl. #metalsky
Who is the WE in this scenario? I don't make any money when oil prices go up. Thank you for your attention to this matter sounds like a condescending dickhead in this scenario, even more than usual.
right after they did that episode, I saw the band hanging out in Denver at Metal & Beer Fest, and I talked to them about it. I said I only knew few albums that they picked. I said didn't like Timewave Zero, and now I know where it come from. Now Isaac recognizes me, every time I see him from that.
watching Nuremberg and thought it would delicious irony if we tried the Trump administration in the ballroom, when we hold our version of the Nuremberg trials. A boy can dream.
Aara shirt?
I assumed there was a logical explanation for this. In these "take shit out of context" times we live in, you can't say anything that would be chopped into something misleading.
To cover your balding head/thinning hair when outside and then not having anywhere to put your hat when you go inside. Or you have a fucked up haircut. When I had longer hair, it looked cool in baseball cap and looked like a dry/straggly mess w/ receding hairline. It's all very simple. :)
Very ambitious creator from the web side of it, very unfocused reviewer.
I totally forgot about this band. I once started a blog and reviewed their album cause I loved it so much. That's the only thing I ever did on the blog. I don't even remember what it was called or how to get there. lol.
You are going to make me pull this one out. I have the vinyl but no one knows who it is. So who knows. Amazing album.
