EARMILK just posted this great review of 'Death of the White Dog' by The Uprights.
Favorite quote: The album is profound and enigmatic as it encapsulates humanity in an increasingly mechanized, standardized, and oppressive world.
Enjoy!

DEATH OF THE WHITE DOG is the new album by The Uprights.
Rolling Stone calls it 'hauntingly beautiful'. Buzz Magazine named us one of the Best Indie Artists of 2025. Pitchfork says we are 'blurring the line between art and music'.

Very exciting. I will keep you posted.π
I lived in Mpls. for ten years. Beautiful city full of wonderful people. If you can visit there, I highly advise it. And if I had still been there, I would have been on the streets shoulder to shoulder with the protesters. Fuck ICE!!!

Lots of people have been asking where they can find our music. Below is the Spotify link, but if you want to buy the album, you should go to Bandcamp.com and get it for only one dollar! Because we aren't in it for the money.

I heard that same rumor just now as I was reading your post, so it must be true. π
THE UPRIGHTS received a brief mention today in the latest edition of Vents Magazine. Here is an excerpt from their review of America's experimental music scene:
'The Uprights continue operating like an art collective disguised as a band, building work meant to be experienced, not consumed.'
Love it!
