Some of the best moments in ARC for me have been about lobbies coming together and helping each other out.

I'm finding the current season of Arc Raiders to have been very poorly designed - they put three expedition materials on only one map that are rare spawns in only a couple areas. It's the map folks who didn't want sweaty PvP always avoids already so it's just punishing you for not doing murders :\

If you're just looking to get familiar with the editor and maybe level building work lows it might be OK? I went to a couple talks at UEFest about developing new game logic in UEFN and it was very strange and only now headed towards the Actor/Component model using Verse

Absolutely do not start with UEFN if you're interested in learning how studios make games with Unreal for professional development, IMO. The design paradigm is extremely different.
