Working on my project today, and it's time to get writing.

A few hours into my biggest challenge yet.

Needle felted wool painting of a golden eagle, this will be around 3ft x 2ft when finished. Working with just a single needle!

This will be a big statement piece for Global Birdfair in July.

I found a pink grasshopper

Pink grasshoppers are real, known as erythrism, caused by a recessive gene

This mutation results in one of two things happening or even a combination of the two; a reduction or even absence of the normal pigment and/or the excessive production of other pigments

I've always had a soft spot for octopus and thought it was time i drew one.

This will be the first of many illustrations for a new set of books I'm working on for my Forgotten Little Creatures Project.

I had an idea in mind with this one, so happy with how it has turned out (photo doesn't do it justice, will have to wait for better light for a better photo).
