currently learning a lot on the Sleeping In A Pipe side of youtube

the silmarillion kind of reminded me of the semi-dramatised accounts of ancient chinese history where there are about 100 different heavenly princes doing noble battle with each other i need to remember all the names of for it to make sense

it feels so much easier when youre tired as hell from work to put off the plan but i believe on the scheme that you should implement a harsh maoist 5 year plan for the next segment of your life. its ok to take calculated risks ☝️🧠 🤝

i do wonder how much of that is just traditional art classes in school and that kids underestimate how little black paint you actually need before it makes a somewhat irreversible mess

i rly recommend it for drawing on ipad its very satisfying. also i got a third party pen nib with a transparent casing and the nib itself is thinner. personally i think the apple pencil nib is too fat / harder to see what ur doing

yeah that's understandable in recent years ive been doing ipad sometimes too. you have a paperlike screen protector?

i think i used to have the intuous youre talking about i now use the slightly newer version with it. yeah it should be fairly easy also to set up the ipad to work with your computer in that way. with the old intuous is it just too kaput?

i have a nice ps crack for windows if you want it but otherwise id suggest krita for an great free alternative

10 minutes invested into the software tutorial before they reveal you can only truly obtain the desired effect if you buy their plugin

been thinking about music in relation to this a lot. one formula i struck on is how similar the 4 panel comic structure feels to the formula of 4 on the floor 'dance' music being so incredibly diverse but all still sticking to this restriction to communicate to its tradition / scene
