Apparently record submissions this year (+40% from SC’24), I guess discussions had to be more streamlined to cover the volume?

To that end, there were some technical talks by Meta, which delved into different recomm. workloads (harder) and network issues at scale. Need more of such examples.
Millimeter wave shoe scanners are available now, hopefully in another couple of years the body scanner will have integrated shoe scanning.
Online conversations can have such limitations, but expecting a bit more candor in technical program..
SC24: I feel folks have toned down (constructive) criticism on HPC research, broad consensus, scarce opposing views, etc. at interpersonal level. Criticism beats praise, please give it straight (especially community leaders).
It would be cool to have an option for the accepted paper authors to specify which session best identifies their work. I felt there were some slight mismatches this year (not complaining).
