I realize I haven't been keeping up with the TV shows posts. I assure you I did finish on the 20th, but will be catching up later when I can repost #29-#1 when it's less busy.
I could watch nothing but the highly profane Australian farming soap opera skit, though. They do get to bring back Olivia Colman for a funny skit about murder mysteries.
After Episode 1, it's surprisingly not as funny as I would've thought. There are some standout moments in Episode 2, but the show drags when they get self-referential in their focus group meetings.
UK sketch comedy show starring the comedy duo, a bit of a diversion from their 2006-2010 series That Mitchell and Webb Look. But in addition to the main duo, they add four new main stars: Stevie Martin, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Krystal Evans and Lara Ricote.

30. Mitchell and Webb Are Not Helping (Channel 4 UK, September 2025)
The whole thing with Harriet Dyer in the driving test with the old woman who did everything wrong, then asked βdid I pass?β was pure cheese.
...stick her with SNL alums Tim Meadows and Molly Kearney, add an actual New Zealand actor who gets to keep his accent, have some side characters; then produce the whole thing in Montreal.
This is kind of a weird choice for how they cast the actors. The pilot I thought was kinda stretching for laughs, but I have to think this would even out after a few episodes. Take Harriet Dyer (an Australian actress from Colin from Accounts), give her an American accent...

31: DMV (CBS/Paramount+, October 2025)
Jenny Slate plays the friend, there's a lot of other notables here (Rob Delaney, Jay Duplass, Sissy Spacek). 8 eps all dropped on 4/4/25.
Based on a podcast. A woman (Michelle Williams) finds out her cancer is back during a couples counseling session (and this time it's incurable), and finds the meds she has to take increase her libido.

32: Dying for Sex (FX/Hulu, April 2025)
...which already you have a rock climbing wall to reach the 2nd-story entrance, there's a fireman's pole partway down, the beds and cots are along an outside wall... and this is not a building code hazard how? :-P
E1 somehow involves pretty much an abandoned building, a hovel, really, that they try to mod into a B&B, and they get their first 2 civilian boarders, two students. Eventually we get to Kian's sketchbooks and design for this giant floating B&B...
"On a remote island, [South Korean YouTuber] Kian84 hosts a quirky B&B escape, where BTS' Jin and Ji Ye-eun lead guests thru playful exploits and delightful chaos." I don't get what's going on, but E1 with the gas-powered tram through the trees that takes 7 minutes to ride, that was cool.

33: Kian's Bizarre B&B (Netflix S. Korea, April 2025)
So we meet the snake, pig and monkey angels later in an Eastern medicine clinic. There's action and humor.
The gangster promises to pay him back as soon as he gets out. Tae-san, sick of dealing with idiots like this, calls the office and tells Jwidol (Sung Yoo-bin), the rat angel and tech expert, to post the gangsterβs bail; heβll get the money one way or another.β
This agency, run by the angels, are essentially loan sharks for the criminal underworld. As Tae-san tells a gangster in prison that owes him money, they only loan money to criminals because itβs easier to collect from them.
There's a review that sums it up better than I can: βTae-san (Ma Dong-seok), who is the leader of the group of angels, is also in charge of the Angel Capital Group.
Angels on earth inhabit 12 creatures that symbolize the 12 Chinese zodiac animals. They battle evil to save the world. Described by some as βa purposely light action comedy that's not trying too hard.β

34: Twelve (aka Twe12ve) (Hulu S. Korea, September 2025)
Fallon hosting here will not change your opinion on Fallon. I did laugh a little when the real estate woman tried to market βMunchboxβ with a wide-eyed innocence.
Yeah there's creative stuff but then you're forced into the usual βwinner is announced, happy stomp clap music, let's get this idea into 10,000 Dunkin' stores right nowβ...
Well, it's like The Apprentice meets Shark Tank but you're focusing on the marketing parts of the campaign only. It. Is. One big ad. For a bunch of smaller ads. Really.

35: On Brand. with Jimmy Fallon (Peacock, September 2025)
I award +1 creativity point for alphabetization categories. Minus one point for the stock photos for some of the situational pictures (illustrating song lyrics, etc.)
Deborah Norville hosts this show--one of two syndicated daytime game shows to premiere around the same time. Based on the board game βFigment.β Place items in order, which is a surprisingly versatile format to work with. I didn't know dried pasta had a shorter shelf life than I thought!
