Part of me wishes Id Software's engines were as prevalent as they used to be. Like when Raven Software wasn't confined to the Call Of Duty mines and made 2 or 3 games with each Id engine.
Heck, Call Of Duty started on the Quake 3 Arena engine and parts of it were still in COD games for years.
