I only do around X2, but for me it forces me to focus on what’s being said, my mind drifts a little when the narrator is speaking too slowly.
It also helps me keep engaged with whatever task I’m doing while listening. So it’s mostly about how it makes me focus more than anything

Social media continue to apply the policy that doing genocide is acceptable, but objecting to genocide is not, and suffering genocide is even less welcome.
It also feels like people are scared to confront how much the nazi’s based their practices off the way the US handled slavery/segregation and immigration.
Acknowledging what is happening now as an atrocity means acknowledging a lot of the historical actions of US law enforcement are also atrocities.
Not sure how much this affects your decision, but they’re pretty rampant with AI stuff too (though it’s kinda pervasive on most similar sites I guess).
