I absolutely love Debian and would recommend it
However after doing that, I get basically a flawless experience (at least if I'm not trying to mess with too much) I am able to game pretty well using Emulators and Proton, Web browsing is pretty good, Using flatpaks gives me the latest software
The best (For my use case) is Debian 13 Trixie, I have never had any OS breaking problems, except first setting it up, Nvidia drivers are a pain to get working, and so is secure boot
Oh really? That's pretty good, I hope it becomes easier on Debian because my goodness it was a nightmare for me to setup secure boot, Secure boot is really amazing for security, but an absolute chore to setup
That person has the short beard / stubble (think that's what it's called) and the long hair, lmaoooo
Saw an absolutely gorgeous car while traveling to harbor freight earlier today to get that bike pump
Oh my god, the guy in the gif looks so similar to me I'm dying lmaoooo
I'm wondering if you can bike in the road like a car or if you have to be off to the side, Or research if there's any bike lanes near where I am
Well, I rode my bike around! Finally got it up and running, Thinking about getting a new one If I really bike a lot, Will also have to research some legal stuff about it
IOS moment:
How bout demailing? :P
I love cookies :3
I do hope it does get resolved though, because it still can be annoying as heck
Yeah, I do think it will get ironed out someday, and even if it doesn't, For myself it's not that big a deal, When Kwin crashes or the session, it am normally just turn the screen black and refresh everything, Its not like it brings my whole system down
Tag a Debian user, I go second -> @zakthej.bsky.social
And tbh, I myself don't mind the small issues Wayland has, At least small issues for me, Wayland just works for me, It's even much more supported now a days, While I think x11 Is basically dead
Eh I mean, Probably depends on the de, I have personally had Kwin crash on me in KDE Wayland while GNOME worked with little issues
I swear, Someday I'm buying hardware of the time and then I'm gonna daily drive Jessie for a while Lmaooo
I'm very surprised at how well Debian 8 holds up, For being last updated in 2020 this OS seems to handle the web super well, Managed to find software mirrors so apt is working as it should, Many apps hold up even with being super old
Debian 8 Jessie in 2026
Okay, that's an absolutely amazing use case for that, If I ever get a keyboard that has the copilot key I may actually use this binding
When i have the night light on it works fine however when i Fullscreen it just cuts out, You can't bring it back, Its gone. This bug is only on X11.
Wayland is the future! And i think it's good for MOST people. X11 has been very buggy for me, Sometimes i have to use it because of an nvidia driver bug in Debian 13
Okayyy, 67 petabytes. Happy nyoaw?
Just you wait, I'm gonna buy a 400TB NAS and hold all of human existence in it for all my viewing pleasure lmaooo
ERM you mean terabytes? 🤭🤓☝️
My favorite part of this song was when YonKaGor said "It's Yonkin' time" and Yonked all over the place
