Here's some fictional news about a Mars Space Elevator. We don't agree with all the technical speculation ... a Mars Elevator is certainly feasible, though we doubt it'll be made with Iridium !

Great, many thanks. Questions ...
- Does the Cycler always pass prograde ? If retro then the idea is a non-starter.
- If prograde, can the perigee be adjusted to best match the SE velocity ? ... thus minimising plane-change delta-V (at worst-case date).
- Does the Cycler also pass Mars prograde ?
This is relevant to the Space Elevator (SE) as payloads could be transferred to/from the cycler for a minimum-fuel transit ...
... but some delta-V is usually needed as the Cycler wouldn't be in the equatorial plane.
A question for @adamsspaceresearch.bsky.social : what's the worst-case delta-V ?
