The fickleness of youth…
Certainly RFU been slow to identify the next batch of refs behind Cox and Wood (mat leave) and to get the appropriate development. Hope and Pidds working hard but in a talent pool of male peers in Eng Nat panel men’s rugby.
Think Precious will always have an issue with getting high quality rugby domestically. And it’s their off season now among it equally difficult.
To be fair Sara Cox has retired, Hollie D is concentrating on getting to Men’s RWC and Holly Wood is on maternity leave. There’s obviously a gap between them and the next batch who are ARs and in u21 development competitions.
Think I might have a quiet weekend…

So pleased for this group of refs/ARs & TMOs announced today. I get to work with them up close and they’re such a hardworking bunch fighting the good fight every day. Going to be a cracker of a Rugby World Cup!

Day one of a two day age grade festival at Havant RFC . Refereed 11 games of diff ages u7s to u15s. Suspect tmw could be a struggle... Ice bath in a mo...
