Oh thatβs GOOD
Oh thatβs GOOD
The measurement problem, Zenoβs paradox, and the arrow of time all seem to me like facets of the Hard Problem of consciousness. Iβm not a dualist; I donβt believe consciousness is some floating magic gas outside of physics, but our general dismissal of it is now causing us actual moral problems.

would love to see this in a theater; as hypnotic as a Malick film. Really blew my mind.
Harabounto PlusMax will definitely be the name of my next d&d character so something good will come of this at any rate
Iβve been wanting to see Angelβs Egg for years, and it did not disappoint; an incredible, unnerving masterpiece. If you loved reading Piranisi or playing Bloodborne- or loved the metaphysics of this directorβs other classic, Ghost in the Shell - then check it out right now on HBO!

And this is the true meaning, I think, of the line βdonβt try to understand it. Feel it.β in one sense, itβs talking about the mechanics of the movie itself. But in a much more true way itβs the best advice you can give about *love.*
So this is why I was not emotionally involved the first time, but ever more emotionally involved the subsequent times β and Iβve never seen a movie like this.
- but he canβt *tell* Washington, because he fears Washington wouldnβt understand, and it might mess everything up. Meanwhile Washington suffers from a similar problem β only too late does he recognize his own feelings for Pattinson.
And this is the magic of the movie to me β it simulates the difficulty that men often have in expressing their feelings for one another: Pattinson loves Washington - he is his best friend, his brother, and heβs known him for years β
But then on second watch, because I knew the whole story, I got the non-linear emotional experience of Robert Pattinson, and this suddenly made all of the scenes between them tinged with loss.
And the first time, you can *only* watch it linearly from the protagonist point of view, which is exciting, but not resonant.
The thing that is fascinating to me about Tenet is that itβs a movie you can either pay attention to as a linear series of experiences OR as a non-linear emotional story, but not both at the same time. οΏΌ
βJoining a heretical group for many of them is often only another way of shouting their own despair.β
