Der Reihentitel war nicht ganz meine Wahl aber ich hoffe durch viele Fußnoten und Zitate den Forschenden und Aktivist*innen gerecht zu werden, die ‚aus erster Hand‘ von kolonialer Erfahrung berichten

Zwei postkoloniale Klassiker in deutscher Übersetzung Zwei Klassiker der postkolonialen Theorie sind erst jetzt ins Deutsche übersetzt worden. Sie können auch gegen den aktuellen postkolonialen Mainstream gelesen werden.

Gilroy und Trouillot sind jetzt erstmals in deutscher Übersetzung erschienen, und ich finde es interessant, wie hier mal wieder „postkoloniale Theorie“ verhandelt wird. Der „Zionismus“, von dem Gilroy spricht, ist jedenfalls ein christlicher. Btw auch Eric Williams wurde gerade erstmals übersetzt.
