#Vancoufur2026 was a convention of many firsts for me. I made my fursuit debut thanks to my wonderful maker MawGuts! I had a fun time with my roomies @fuzzt0ne.bsky.social and Ignis. Saw many familiar faces and made new friends. I also came out of the closet as bisexual to my parents during the con!

Well, after far too many years in the closet I finally came out as bisexual to my parents today!

After over 15 years in the fandom, I finally have a fursuit! I cannot thank my maker mawguts enough for doing such an amazing job bringing my Coyote to life!

In Calgary to pick up the person I’m rooming with, then on to Kamloops for tonight.

First leg of the journey to VF went well! Lots of driving left though.

Oh yeah the difficulty is very annoying. Haven't ever found anyone who wants to go past a first date.

Honestly debating on whether I should give up trying to date in the fandom.

Yeah I’m about to drive to VF next week and it’s a pretty long drive. Calfurry was my first ever con!

Even after being in the fandom for well over a decade at this point I still don’t feel like I’ve exactly found my group of people within it.

I had an issue like that with my new Samsung TV. It won't accept a signal less than 1080p for some reason. Had to hook all my retro systems up to my CRT instead.

Had a great time at the first Calfurry. Would highly recommend!
