I get an automated email in my inbox every single morning describing what changed overnight in a harmonized dataset from 50+ open data portals.

Monash University has made many positions available specifically for young and early career researchers who would like to take some time away from the USA. These are case by case, not advertised. So if you are interested or know anyone interested have them get in contact with someone at Monash.

Unfortunately, all Census TIGER/Line and cartographic boundary shapefiles are down as of this evening.
This means that the tigris #rstats and pygris #Python packages will not work, and geometry support in tidycensus will also fail.
The Census API, for now, is still up.

Provides Bluey Inspired Color Palettes
Provides Bluey-inspired color palettes and ggplot2 scales.
The best part of the colors one is that the answer WAS {bluey} and technically still is, but after this someone DID make a bluey color palette package on GitHub:

Last year I started an annual "R Trivia Night" at our org's R Users Group as a fun way to close out the year. In prepping for this year's, I'm reviewing my (diabolical) questions from the inaugural event. Enjoy.
