As much as I love the show, a lot of the characters are just so embarrassingly self-centred and small-minded that I can see it being a turn-off for a lot of people. It's like a proto-Friends that takes place in a wilderness frontier.

Binged all seasons of Northern Exposure this past year and got super into it.
Unique, distinctly 90s show with great characters, nice dollops of magical realism, and an irresistible mild-yet-heady kind of vibe 📺🤤

Never saw North of 60 but was always curious. Canadian show, right? CBC-produced?

Oh man! Lynch art is hard enough to decipher and comprehend when it's experienced in a linear manner. I can't imagine getting flung into the world of TP by way of legendary ep8.

Man, it'd been a long while since I'd experienced intense emotions from a TV show, but by the time Chromatics started "Shadow" at the end of Twin Peaks S3E1, I was completely awash.

What a great song, what a great series. We are so, so lucky to have gotten a 3rd season. RIP David Lynch.
