‘The Substance’ review.

I would have awarded it an 8.5 but watching Dennis Quaid eat shrimp like that at the beginning totally sent me ill.
But seriously I really enjoyed it overall.
(Even though I’m a wuss and super squeamish.)
Halfway through watching a movie called ‘The Substance’ and……I feel a bit ill. Super squeamish. 🤢
It was held at the end of 2023 in north wales, it was really, really good. Murti and Eric debuted a trailer for ‘Shadow Histories’ and it was so so good!!!! 🤩

I’m glad to see AOD getting a lot of hype today for 2 reasons:
1. It’s a fucking amazing game that definitely did not deserve the manufactured hate that it got.
2. Murti Schofield is a lovely, lovely human being who deserves his flowers.
That’s pretty much what I thought! It was 75% a parallel of SOTL 25% paranormal. People were telling me it was the scariest thing they’ve seen and I felt like being scared yesterday…..and it never came minus a couple of jump scares. 🤷♂️ Really enjoyed it but felt like I wanted more out of it. 😩
