Today I’m celebrating the 14th anniversary of my 30th birthday. While I haven’t convinced my back that 40 is the new 30, I’m healthy. I’m content with my life. I’m comfortable. It’s a good place to be topping the proverbial hill.

We did this. Every time a kid who got bullied also got in trouble for defending themselves, every time someone who broke the rules got a slap on the wrist because of who they knew, we as a society reinforced the fact that aggression and violence were fine when paired with status.

I didn’t discover WoT until the tv series. I really enjoyed it and was sad it was cancelled but it sounded like there was a lot of deviation from the novels
