I had a Brother CS6000i several years ago. It was a good machine for the price. Easy to use, never gave me problems. I gave it to my daughter when I bought a Janome. It still works.

One of my cats has stopped eating. We took her to the vet and he kept her overnight. He ran several tests and did an x-ray. The vet found nothing wrong with her so he sent her home with appetite stimulant, antibiotics and a steroid. This is day 4 and she still hasn't eaten. My heart is breaking.

This quilt is made up of various color and tan 9 patch blocks. There is a grey border and a piano key border of the same fabrics as the 9 patch blocks.

I used the scraps from the first quilt, Wanderers Wife, and made the second one. I'm calling it the wanderers daughter. The wanderers daughter quilt is my first finish of the new year. #quilts

I have done this every year since Karen started it. The first couple of years I really needed it. After that I used it as a way to rediscover things I had forgotten. Regardless, my space stays more organized all year now thanks to the #DeclutterChallenge2026
