The interface, the ease and smoothness of most apps. It just feels like a cleaner experience.
I do a lot of work and learning on my phone and having the pixel has really helped with this.
The margins are so fine now as the technology advances, I think it just comes down to preference.
I made the switch to Android (Google Pixel 8 Pro) 18 months ago, I'd always had an iPhone (apart from a brief Huawei experience, which would have been extended but you know l!).
Don't think I'll ever go back now.

I'm one week into my data journey. I've consumed so much information this week and thrown myself in:
• Microsoft Learn
• Power Up Programme
• LinkedIn Learning
• Coding Essentials (HTML and JavaScript)
• Podcasts/Social Media/YouTube

I started the Microsoft Power Up programme this evening and have dived into Microsoft Learn and LinkedIn Learning this week.

...so, I've decided to completely retrain. I've mapped out my learning, what certification I need and what realistic jobs are in my area and I'm beyond excited about what is to come.
I've used my careers adviser skills and think I've found a way I can fully fund all £4k of training I want too...
I deliberated, spoke to people I trust and researched a few ideas.
I then stumbled upon something. Power Platform and the whole Microsoft universe.
I've always been a stat guy, a data guy and someone who understands the concepts and needs of business. I love to help build and provide solutions..
and weekends took its toll on me mentally. Family is everything to me and ultimately I didn't want to eat into this precious time when my children are so young.
So, there will be no T-DA, I've permanently shelved the idea and in doing so found myself asking one simple question.
What next?
After a huge amount of thought, I went against this decision and with it around two and half years of upskilling and training.
This isn't to say I can't take these skills forward, because I can and most certainly will.
But the fact I'd have to work full time and then build this on evenings...
I've been offline for a while.
There's been a reason for this, I've been thinking about my future a lot over the last couple of months - since the start of December.
The plan for 2026 was to launch T-DA - my marketing side hustle and build it to become my steady income and future.
I've found it difficult this month.
My momentum and consistency was so good last month and it's now dropped off a cliff.
The only thing I'm now doing consistently is second guessing myself.
I need a break. I can't wait to finish on Tuesday.
I've been so busy the last fortnight I've not had time to come on here, write or plan the next phase of my launch.
December is so busy, with both family and work - Bluestone, Manchester, Christmas concerts, trips, Christmas shopping and preparing for another week off. I'm exhausted.
I've had a great week. Bluestone for 'ChristmasLand', and some quality family time.
Then yesterday I took my boy to his first ever Man City game. Three generations of blues. Exhausted after a busy but brilliant week.
