If you don't mind, what material did you use to cast your molded foot paw? Does that material expand during the curing process?

How long does a mold like your foot-paw take to print?

Still in the mood to encapsulate my feet in urethane, I did small 300g batches in the paws after work. Here’s a bit of a reveal and explanation for those interested. :)

Exactly! One day, I'll get some help and cast both feet and hands in urethane at the same time with my @furrjoi.com paws and feet.

Each foot received 600 grams this time.

It's difficult to describe. The urethane has a slight warmth to it as it sets and it bonds very well to skin, creating almost the sensation of a glove surrounding your foot. But then, after about 10-15min, the urethane hardens, leaving your feet completely encapsulated in urethane. It's magical!

Now that the urethane has set, the silicone paws were removed to check the work. Not as fully encapsulated as I’d hoped but still happy with the result. Now to put the paws back on and enjoy the extra tactile sensation the urethane brings.

It’s the third snow day, and you’re very very bored. What do you do? Urethane paws it is! @furrjoi.com’s awesome silicone paws make excellent molds! Progress photos to come.
