Me! I am loving it.
I am unable to look away.
Book banning isnβt new, but the scale, coordination, and targets of todayβs censorship efforts are. @wgbh.orgβ¬'s Unbound Pages podcast is telling the stories behind the headlines and why it matters now more than ever. www.wgbh.org/foundation/h...
Oh I'm so glad you don't know either. I was pretending to know when it kept coming up on my reels
Stop the fucking fireworks already. I have a headache and my dog is terrified.
But also my dog has not moved from the nest she has created in the laundry closet for 2 days. I had to force her out to pee.
North Idaho, this is excessive for the fireworks. I try to just let it go but I'm anxious and jumping tonight. Will be going out of town next year. Poor dog and poor everyone else that will have a negative reaction to this ridiculous noise.
Does anyone want to join my Trader Joe's snack club because I basically just talk about the snacks I find all the time and it's my only hobby
The fireworks with my morning coffee are just great. Thanks for the noise all night and then now making my dog hide first thing.
This job is not what I had expectations it would be based on title and projects explained. I'm basically a manager all over without having time to be director and I really don't love it. Also living here nine months without my partner/him not getting a job yet makes it seem pointless that I moved
I work for CDA city and we had an email with maps, info, and how to support pretty quick. I can't believe it would be questioned.
I am so sad about this. It's too close to home. City employee, actually near my house. Knowing all the things lots of us are trying to do to make this place better and help people feel safe. It needs more than thoughts and prayers.
ππππππ This is one of the overpasses as you enter Coeur dβAlene, Idaho. Such a loss.
This!
Thank you. I'm the library director in CDA. it's wild and weird and lots of us purposefully pick jobs and stay to make sure the racists can't win
Extremely sad and scary news from Coeur d'Alene. The park they are set up at is where I take Chai to play. I'm in Philadelphia but it is so awful to hear this news.
Yessss. Thank you!
Cute kid on the plane kept trying it out. PHILLY. PHILLLLY. I wanted to as well.
Brought a friend who is attending their first ALA and I haven't been since 2018. And I do miss the large gaggle of librarians I used to plan to meet up with but it's also fun to start fresh.
Am I allowed to say Philly? Or is that earned?

Trader Joe's Banana Pudding ice cream and the new Sherri Papini documentary. Has there been a better Friday night?
This is lovely. Thank you.
I love libraries because I learn something new or find a book every day because of the people I get to help.
Federal Court halts dismantling of IMLS in ALA lawsuit. U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia grants temporary restraining order.
π¨ Today, a federal court granted a temporary restraining order to halt the administrationβs dismantling of IMLSβa direct result of the lawsuit filed by ALA and @afscme.bsky.social.

Everything is such a mess that I don't even care about my birthday month. However free coffee. Where else can I sign up to get a free drink this month
The amount of times I ask the dog "what are you eating?" and get no answer are outrageous.
The Seven by Robyn Delvey and Accidental Saints by Nadia Bolz-Weber and about 6 more
Yellow lab mix sitting in the sun and looking out the window.
Chai enjoying the neighborhood activities this morning.
Between personal, work, and absolutely straining my ankle issues I think I am good to nap until my bday in May.
