My heart always calls me back* to North Wales, even if the weather doesn't always welcome me back when I get there.

*not from there, but despite a shaky start (an awful 6th form geography fieldtrip) it won me over in my early 30s and I now can't stay away.

I'm not really clued up on modern music, but RAYE's 'Nightingale Lane.' really is very good, and the final minute or so is *exquisite*. An artist striding into her era with style.

And yes it's absolutely your kind of shirt so I should definitely not gently encourage you to get one too...

Had my eye on it for a while and just thought, why not? Was half price on Absolute Rugby! It's a quality shirt, definitely playable in for training etc., just a pro fit and, well, I don't have a pro body... 😂 Really it's just the shoulder and neck area where it's a bit odd.

Particularly one that most people already do, right? (see headlines department, Reach plc regional newspapers)

Hopefully this situation is mostly temporary (job transition, meant to be 50-50 time split but old job hasn't taken any work away). New job will have a lot of out of hours work but it will have its perks...

Finishing work at half 8 when you technically finish at half 3 isn't the one. So I'm probably going to deal with that in an entirely rational way, i.e. going out out to dance and drink whilst not wearing a lot.

I think I just hide any videos that have BRUTAL in their thumbnail these days. 50% of the time it's videos where the provider of whatever service didn't bend over backwards for them.

BUT they have now put the train times back on the big board and honestly I'm delighted.

The other side of it: I've spent an hour and a half on a bench at Euston doing a rugby club committee meeting, I missed the fast train and I'm now on a commuter train that takes two hours and won't be home until midnight.

This is not how I foresaw it playing out, but finally I feel like that International Relations course is paying off 😂

Tried to go to sleep a little earlier because I'm so tired. Now I can't sleep at all. Bother.

It's surely far more exciting to deliver them by hot air balloon, right?

The government needs to make proper provision for capacity on CrossCountry long-distance services. 8 carriages minimum. Better catering etc. would be nice, but I'd settle for enough seats and an inch more kneeroom. This has been a problem for decades now.
