Many schools consider using AI as academic dishonesty, and it’s only the prof’s grace that saves a student from expulsion. But to others’ points, AI is very easy for an expert to spot. A good convo to have with a prof if it eases your concerns, but flagging something as AI when it isn’t is rare.
