Having now read this issue, it serves nicely as a standalone story. I like when ongoings take a timeout for semi one-shot storytelling to bring a character’s history into perspective with the current narrative & give us some personality (not that Gambit, of all people, needs more personality).

Setting up a full on eBay store sounds like a very intense job but idk that there’s another option.

I’m considering selling a lot of my stuff. Master Sets of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet base set, Pokemon Go, and Celebrations. Selling all of my Symbiote Funkos. Selling some figures, selling some comics, selling some trades.

Anyone have any advice on how to do this right for fair profit?

Not so different from any other average enjoyable evening. But so long as the day is enjoyable, I suppose it’s all about as good as can be.

There will be no cèilidh this year but shamrocks and bourbon aplenty will be dedicated to those partaking this evening!

Today is Saint Patrick’s Day. This year I celebrate the actual day of at home alone, surrounded by various decor I’ve devoted to my favorite holiday. Shortly, I’ll grab a whiskey glass from my freezer, fill it with one of my preferred bourbons, light a preroll, & soak in the evening air on my patio.

And the big one. At $5 each, I found ALL. FOUR. ISSUES. of JLA/Avengers with George Perez! It’s obviously not a jackpot scenario. But it’s a damn surprising one at $5 a pop!

Then I suddenly saw the first issue of Harley Quinn’s first solo series! (Not her first appearance but still significant.) Only $5!

Now the lucky finds! A second printing of The Dark Knight Returns issue 1! Obviously not as valuable as a first printing but at $12 it was worth more than I paid!

Much the same way any Ragman fan who sees Trinity issues, grabs issues 23 & 31 because Ragman is in them! (Especially when you don’t actually have them in your collection yet)

Wasn’t familiar with this one, but when a @lanterncast.bsky.social co-host sees Hal in such a prominent position on the cover, you grab it. Plus Power Company is returning anyways so good timing!

In this same store were a bunch of random sealed trading card packs. We’re talking like Mork & Mindy, Barbie, Rugrats, Sesame Street, Incredible Hulk, DC Cosmic, etc.

But I nabbed Spider-Man & some Bill & Ted!

Dicking around on Main Street in Buda, TX after breakfast this morning, I took to browsing the two antique stores in the vicinity & found a few comics!

Starting with a random issue of Darkstars I needed (don’t worry the REALLY lucky finds are later in the thread)!

I’ve been purposefully avoiding Target because of the boycott, but I was after a new Lego set. I figure only going when every other option is exhausted is still effective enough. But I caught a Lego restock & nabbed the Creator Record player! (& a switch game on sale for $30)

Darted across the street to Walgreens to browse and saw an “older” Lego mini figure set! Used the Minifig Scan app to find what I wanted!
