I'm finally midway into Horizon and it's really exciting hearing your voice work as Rean, you really sell the character's growth and it's fun seeing him as an adult with earned confidence after his coming of age journeys.

Iron-Fang Security is run by anthro wolves, and though they allow any other species to join up they do have a bias.

When you're trying to grow and train your new faith in hostile territory, sometimes you have to show off your assets in the best light possible to get attention.

I made a quick sketch off an anatomy reference, wrote corny dialogue, then felt compelled to make a real thing.

Yeah I think sketching too crisp just messes you up, blurry/sloppy brushes let you capture the essence without getting bogged down.

Because they don't critically engage with the work at all, it just is pretty/sexy/sounds nice/whatever so they only look at it from the most surface level. 'Oh this guy sounds badass singing that's my type of dude? What's he singing about? Probably irrelevant'.

I've definitely gone 'I thought I subscribed to this, oops', but I've never thought YT actually unsubbed me from anything. The algorithm knew I liked Hank Green without me subscribing because I just watched enough videos.

Kivo's not used to being a witness instead of the focus of the trial. Still, even if he had to behave, he got to enjoy his fellow thieves helping the proceedings along with some creative chicanery.

I made this too big but it was good practice.

The funny part to me was they edited it so that I didn't manage to recognize you despite having heard you quite a lot. I'm glad it wasn't a bummer for you how they edited. Similar to the linked video, I liked about half of the season, so hopefully they've worked out some kinks for the next one.

This is why I said earlier it's not worth your personal brainspace to try to figure it out or freak out. It's just gonna come out on its own eventually. Same as when people traced other people's art directly without Gen AI in the middle. Most artists are still real, and lying is hard to keep up.

It's fine to feel like 'well crap' and not want to use it as inspiration at all after the fact, but letting it hurt you past that isn't worth it, there's enough struggle as an artist. Take it as yet more evidence that 'Gen AI' can't replace actually doing the artistic process even from an artist.

I don't think it's worth being disheartened. I think we let Gen AI occupy way too much of our mindspace and hurt us, even though nobody should ever trace Gen AI and pass it off as art. If you thought the stuff was cool, do it right yourself without it. You weren't bad or wrong to be inspired.

There's a lot of problems with trying to date a professional burglar when you're High Justicar. Here is just one of them. Kivo's largely harmless, so everyone decides he's 'Ferro's spotted menace' since none of them would do any better at making Kivo behave.

I picked the game up and am excited to start it soon, your VA as Rean was a treat in every game and I didn't even know he'd be a thing until the game released since I try to avoid hype.

Where I was that was the only real option, Hispanic/Latino or 'not Hispanic/Latino', so it's probably something government / legal related because most stupid things are.

When overwhelmed by the world and life a lot of people want somebody/something to tell them what to do and what to think. This is not a good thing, but unfortunately it's a real one, and this is a huge risk of AI because it can both be very confidently wrong but also preprogrammed to propagandize.

The same way we learn everything, just trying it over and over until it sticks in our brain! I think I've been slowly settling on wanting to focus on and learn painting, personally, it feels more cozy and relaxing. It's good to follow your heart on this stuff, be the cute you want to be!

I started to learn how to draw and do digital art just last year after I hit 40, after 2 decades of convincing myself I wasn't allowed to do art because I had no talent. I've come so far in the time I've actually spent practicing. Talent is largely a myth and the myth holds people down.
