Is college enrollment plummeting? Reports of the death of the bachelor’s degree have been greatly exaggerated.

Popular discourse attributes falling college enrollments to the rising cost of four-year college.

Systematic execution of hundreds in a hospital in Darfur, as RSF/Janjaweed take over the city of El Fasher (population ~250k) in Darfur.

That adds to an estimated 150,000+ death toll from fighting, plus many more from famine.

But Sudan is one of those places the outside world cares little about.

Even as someone who has become a bit less skeptical of AI overall, and probably less skeptical than the average person on this site, this absolutely has to be a bright line. If there are ethical uses of AI, grading is not and will not be one of them.

Just one study, but supports the value of learning to think/write on your own first.

Might also help convince students that the best performers wrote on their own first, then later with AI, while those who started off doing both did poorly & limited future capacity.
